The concept of the new TV show is to surprise fisherman from around the country with amazing fishing adventures. Most of us only dream of fishing in remote untouched waters for that elusive fish of a life time, but for some lucky subscribers that dream has become a reality. To date we have selected three lucky fishermen with trips to the Northern Territory and remote North Queensland.

I remember seeing the segment, on an early Fishing World DVD, of one of your first such “surprises” – a fellow who’d been shopping at Otto’s – and thinking then what a great concept that was.
I know I commented to JKim Harnwell to that effect and may have passed on similar comments to you. If not, consider that done now!
I doubt there would be many fisho’s who view such a disc and would not dream of being the one in the “hot seat”. I have been fortunate enough to have done a couple of trips to the top end and so am aware of just how great an experience it can be. Even if the fishing is a little slow at times, the adrenalin is always only a heartbeat away because that’s how fast things can change.
Keep ‘em coming – they make for great viewing and feed a hell of a lot of dreams at the same time.

I wonder if you could contact me regarding a trip I am taking soon to the Cape. If a phone call is not possible could you please let me no what camera equipment you use when filming. We do want to make our personal trip DVD for each of us but we are having all sorts of problems getting the right advice on the subject.

Loved the Lake Conjola shoot. Please more every day fishing trips. Not everyone can do the ‘deep sea’ or ‘top end’. Guess what? If we want kids in on fishing, then unless taking 7year olds out to sea or you can afford to spend thousands on them ‘top end’ fishing (to see if they like it). Bread and butter fishing is where its at. Just a thought…

wow well done a fishing show with a bite.First time watcher and u have me hooked as u show all sorts of fish not just one fish type.Me myself love to catch a black marlin off cook town or dolphine fish even a wild saltwater barra.U know what would be good a compition with mate virses mate.Anyway there is someone who loves fishing and would love to go to Dawin .She is unable to catch large fish as she has bad arthritis and know one knows how long she really has to live as she is a fighter .Its her dream before she leaves to a better world,

Hi Mark my fiancé is one of those guys who has everything! Good family, great job, boat, fishing gear and absolutely loves fishing! I struggle every year for birthdays, anniversaries or Christmas to find something for him that he would love and enjoy! He never asks for anything, this morning Sat 13/03/11 he hinted at the show (I watch with him to spend time with him) that the wife of the fisherman nominated him to be on the show. So here I am, I would dearly love it if I could get him on your show as a surprise and my gift to him as a thank you for all he has given me (himself) & the greatest wedding gift EVER!

My hubby Jon is a mad keen fisherman, he has been fishing since he was a boy, he abouslty live’s, eats and breathe fishing. He is a hard worker and a passionate father and family man,He watching any and every fishing show that is on, but thinks your’s is the best, because you give people a once in a life time opportunity to go to the most beautiful locations in the world. He has had a hard time the past 15 months, he has damaged his shoulder, and has been in constent pain and painkillers, he needs an operation to fix it, Which is finally happening on the 11th of this month…(Praise the Lord!) He hasn’t be able to fish cause it’s to painful, and that is the hardest thing for him. All his mates have been going out on charters but he is in so much pain, he couldn’t go, So he said the first thing he wants to do in a few months when he is all healed is go fishing. It would be an honour and he would be blown away if you knocked on the door to take him.

Hi Mark – Ive just been watching your show whilst sitting in PMH ( Perths childrens hospital ). We have just had our secound son diagnosed with a heart condition – that will eventually lead to heart transplant. We have two of these boys – But I think the hardest thing is knowing that my husband unknowingly has passed the condition onto two of our three beautiful boys.
Although they will all be ok for a while, my husband is fourty this year and his biggest dream would be to take if not one but all of his boys with him on a fishing trip – They love fishing!!!!!! –
Brian has always wanted to complete this task but with continued medical cost and travelling 2-3 hours to Perth on a regular basis, they fantasy might not come true.
As a slight hope I thought that I would apply on line for your newsletter – ( which the boys can read on the internet whilst in hospital etc) but also for the chance of a lifetime

Hi Mark my name is Kylie Jackson im Bevan Jackson’s wife. Bevan watch’s your show and always say’s ‘i’d love to do that’ so i would love if you would consider Bevan for one off your fishing adventurers as he loves fishing and hasn’t been able to go out for a while his boat motor is no longer working and as we have two year old twins and live in a small country town i cant go to work as there is no child care so Bevan has to work shift work at the iron mine to bring in enough money for us to live. HI Mark, my name is Emma (Tyes wife) my husband works very hard as a bricklayer, six days a week. we have a young son and are expecting our baby girl any day now. Tye is a wonderful father and husband and is always putting the family first. I also have MS and he is very caring and picks up all the slack around the house when im sick (hes a big teddy bear) On his one day off we sit down and watch your show as a family, we love how you go on your big fishing trips and have a secondary competition catching 15 differant species of fish or 1 big fish. We find ourself barracking for the fisherman everytime

I would love to surprise Tye with you guys showing up at his work to wisk him away on an awsome once in a lifetime fishing adventure, as he is always putting us first and he soo deserves some time for himself. Hi guys. my husband of 30 years jeff loves your show and has been in awe of the fishing. This would be an absolute dream come true if he was chosen to fish with you. I too would love for this to happen for him. He looks after me every day 365 days of the year he cooks, cleans and does the dishes without a grumble. If it wasnt for him my medical condition would worsen and my quality of life would sure suffer. Fishing is his passion and I do believe it feeds his soul. thankyou for the show brilliant concept, watching the smiles on the faces of the fisher people is grest. hopefully one day i will be watching jeff. His looks wouldnt break the camera lens.
